The medium is that this product will be produced on is radio

Young n Old

The programme is dramatic and an eye opener as it will show how to be careful on social media and not talk to any strangers and give your information to them. I will attract all ages and have different speakers talking about their opinion on this programme. 

4 Sound Elements 

There are 4 different types of sound elements that will in our radio show are sound effects, music, dialogue etc. We will have sound effect in the show to add some character to the show and will allow the audience to see what is happening. We will make sure we have background music as this will help make the show more lively. I could add some sad sound effects as tis topic is very sad sometimes, but also could have piano sounds playing in the background. The dialogue we will have in the show will be showing what will be happening in the start and going with the flow. We might have a few people which will come and talk about their experiences with social media and how it has impacted their life. 

Target Audience

We will be targeting a more older group as it is about social media and how it can be dangerous. It could mostly be for older siblings or parents which want their kids to stay away from social media. This target audience would be good so they could understand what is happening on these platform and take action. I could also have a social media page which tells stories on there on a daily so people can see the dangers are on social media. 

Audio assets

  The first audio asset will keyboard typing noises. this is because it will show that its something to do about texting. This will make the audience left in suspense as it will be silent and the keyboard typing noise will come out of nowhere. 

The second audio asset will be different sounded effects of the pedophile, this will make the storyline much more interesting for the audience. Having sound effects of doors closing and slamming will create suspense and shock the audience. We will use certain sound effects to engage the audience such as background sounds of phone notification sounds. There will be all kinds of social media notification sounds going off in the background as we are talking. We could also add sounds of police sirens as the pedophile gets caught texting underaged girls, as this will be great was to end the radio talk. 

There will be tense music in the background at the start and end of the episode as this will keep the audience engaged and would make them watch the next episode. Different background sounds like cars and motorbikes going past which will question the audience on what's going on. 

Recce

This is the workplace which we will be working at for editing and recording the sounds. Me and Haider went out to see where we could record around the school. This was the best location for our recordings as it is quiet. We decided to record in this room as it will have silent and easy for us to record in. As we are recording in school we might have a few problems of when to record, as its in a classroom and there may be a lesson going on, so we will have a contingency plan of using the small room we have in the school. The small music could be a good idea as it closed and small and no-one else uses this room. But there is no computer in that room so for the editing we will have to use a classroom. 

We had to go out in the school playground and record a few background sounds and sound effects, this is because we needed the wind sound so it will make it realistic and make the listener feel like their there with us.
